| Protocol | Western Blot: Preliminary experiments gave an approx 48kD band in Mouse Fetal Brain lysates and in lysates of NIH3T3 after 1 ug/ml antibody staining. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the band we observe given the calculated size of 67.4kD according to Human NP_004407.2 and of 68.2kD according to Mouse NP_032078.2. The 48kD band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide. Have any further splice variants/modified forms been reported? |
