Notes CD203c, also known as ENPP-3, is integral membrane ectoenzyme (ectonucleotide pyrophosphatase/phosphodiesterase 3), that hydrolyses nucleotide triphosphates and thus modulates purinergic signaling. CD203c is expressed mainly on activated basophils and mast cells. CD203c is upregulated in response to IgE-receptor cross-linking and is overexpressed on neoplastic mast cells in patients with systemic mastocytosis. Measurement of its induced enhancement on the plasma membrane is useful for diagnostics of allergies.
Alias Names ENPP3, B10, PDNP3, PD-IBETA
Product Type Antibodies Primary
Protocol Flow cytometry: The reagent is designed for analysis of human blood cells using 4 μl reagent / 100 μl of whole blood or 106 cells in a suspension. The content of a vial (0.4 ml) is sufficient for 100 tests. Extracellular and intracellular staining.
Purification Purified antibody is conjugated with activated tandem dye of R-phycoerythrin-cyanine 7 (PE-Cy™7) under optimum conditions and unconjugated antibody and free fluorochrome are removed by size-exclusion chromatography.
Size 100 tests
Source / Host mouse
Species Reactivity human
Storage Store at 2-8°C. Protect from prolonged exposure to light. Do not freeze.
Substrate / Buffer Stabilizing phosphate buffered saline (PBS), pH 7.4, 15 mM sodium azide
Technical Specifications The mouse monoclonal antibody NP4D6 reacts with an extracellular epitope of CD203c, a transmembrane ectoenzyme expressed on basophils and mast cells, and overexpressed upon their activation.
