Immunogen TRAIL-R3 (aa 1-280) - hIgGhc fusion protein
Isotype IgG1
Keywords Apoptosis (Human), CD and Related Antigens (Human), Apoptosis
Notes TRAIL-R3 (CD263, TR3, DcR1, LIT, TRID), expressed mainly on neutrophils, belongs to receptors of TRAIL, a TNF-like membrane cytotoxic protein that induces apoptosis in many tumour cells, but not in normal cells. TRAIL-R3, however, is a GPI-anchored protein that lacks cytoplasmic death domain, thus it is unable to induce apoptosis and serves as a negative regulator of apoptotic signaling by competing for binding of TRAIL with death receptor 5 (DR5).
Species Reactivity human
Storage Store in the dark at 2-8°C. Do not freeze. Avoid prolonged exposure to light. Do not use after expiration date stamped on vial label.
Substrate / Buffer The reagent is provided in stabilizing phosphate buffered saline (PBS) solution containing 15mM sodium azide.
Technical Specifications The antibody TRAIL-R3-02 reacts with TRAIL-R3, a 35 kDa GPI-anchored extracellular membrane protein expressed mainly on neutrophils.
