GeneTex’s KO/KD-Validated Vimentin Antibodies for Neuroscience Research

Vimentin (~54kD) is a class-III intermediate filament proteinexpressed primarily
in cells of mesenchymal lineage. It functions in the regulation of cell shape and
the maintenance of cytoskeletal integrity. For neuroscience, though it is detected
in some neurons at particular maturational stages, vimentin is frequently used
as a marker for radial glia cells.
