Oxytocin Dysregulation in Critically Ill Newborn Foals

Oxytocin concentrations were decreased in septic compared to healthy foals but increased in NMS compared to healthy foals (P<0.05).
In our study, decreased oxytocin concentrations were associated with septicemia and mortality, while increased oxytocin was linked to NMS.

Arg8-Vasopressin (AVP) CLIA Kit

  • Multi-Species - compatible with mammalian, bird and reptile samples
  • Sample Types - Serum, Plasma, Media
  • Simple to Use - No C18 column extractions required
  • Sensitivity is 0.88 pg/mL – Most Sensitive AVP Kit Available!
  • Stable at 4°C

AKAP220 manages apical actin networks that coordinate aquaporin-2 location and renal water reabsorption

Loss of AKAP220 leads to accumulation of AQP2 at the apical plasma membrane and reduces the ability to shed excess water through urine dilution.

Progesterone EIA Kit

  • Species Independent
  • Sample Types: Fecal extracts, Urine, Media
  • Sensitivity is 47.9 pg/mL
  • Stable at 4°C

Neuroprotection by Estrogen and Progesterone in Traumatic Brain Injury and Spinal Cord Injury

Research demonstrates estrogen and progesterone have neuroprotective effects in both cases of acute brain neurological injury and in neurodegenerative disease.

Estradiol Serum EIA Kit

  • Species Independent
  • Simple to Use – No extraction required
  • Sample Types:  Serum and Plasma
  • Sensitvity is 2.21 pg/mL
  • Stable at 4°C

Estradiol EIA Kits

  • Species Independent
  • Sample Types: Fecal Extracts, Urine, and Media
  • Sensitivity is 39.6 pg/mL
  • Stable at 4°C
