RNA Isolation Made Easy

Isolating high-quality, intact RNA is a necessary precursor for many methods used in molecular biology such as northern blotting, RT-PCR, and microarray analysis. However, RNA extraction can be notoriously complicated due to the abundant presence of ribonuclease enzymes (RNases) in cells and tissues that can quickly degrade the RNA. Therefore, it’s important that the correct tools and protocols be used when extracting RNA.

Total RNA was both isolated from 300 µl bacteria culture using the EpiQuik Total RNA Isolation Kit. Culture cell: 300 µl Top 10; Elute volume: 200 µl; Check volume: 10 µl.

To assist the researcher, EpiGentek now offers three new kits for fast and easy RNA isolation
from a wide range of sources.
